Noise Simulation and Perception of Novel Aviation Concepts – Listen to the Future
Sustainability in aviation requires to limit at the same time aircraft noise exposure and climate impact. If not accounted for, additional noise and the associated community annoyance can be a show-stopper for the market introduction of Advanced Air Mobility (air taxis and UAVs) and new designs for large transport aircraft. That is why a close cooperation between the fields of engineering and psycho-acoustics is essential.
In this event participants from NASA, DLR and RWTH will share the latest status of research in the field.
